Chris Costello - Founder and Principal
Chris founded CBG Benefits, Inc. in 1999 along with his brother Steven. From the very beginning, Chris has maintained the company's mission of delivering simple, affordable and comprehensive management solutions that provide immediate impact to an employer's bottom line. For current and prospective clients, Chris's activities focus on helping organizations develop a vision and strategy for the role of HRIS, as well as conducting Employee Benefit needs analysis, defining requirements, evaluating and selecting vendors, and planning and managing system implementations. Chris has lead CBG to become a "brokerage firm" in the truest sense. By aligning the organization with a wide array of partners, CBG has been able to leverage its core strengths, provide a high level of service and realize reduced pricing for clients.
Chris has more than 20 years of experience within the employee benefits industry. Prior to forming CBG, Chris spent the first 10 years of his insurance career with UNUM Corporation. At CBG, Chris' specific areas of focus include HR organizational design, process and systems analysis, policy design and implementation of integrated human resource and payroll systems.
A native of the New England, Chris grew up in Winchester, MA and earned his BA in Journalism Broadcast from the University of Maine. Chris has since returned to Winchester, MA where he lives with his wife Kathleen and their four children: Sam, Hayley, Jack and Georgia.

Dan Costello - Vice President, Account Management
Dan has brought 12 years of Employee Benefits experience, working with client organizations ranging in sizes of two (2) to 5,000 employees. His career includes six(6) years with UNUMProvident as a Group Sales Representative and five (5) years with Hartford Life as a Senior Sales Representative. Dan joined CBG Benefits & HRIS as Director of Sales and Voluntary Benefits in February, 2004. Dan earned his BA from the University of Maine.

Steven Costello - Founder and Principal
Steve started in the insurance industry in 1989 as an individual life broker with Phoenix Mutual Life in Boston. In 1991, he joined Unum Life Insurance Company as a group representative located in Dallas, Texas. In 1995, he became a Sales Director and dealt with large municipal clients in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Steve co-founded CBG Benefits/HRIS with Chris in 1999 and is dedicated to bringing clients the highest possible level of service, at no additional cost. Steve earned his BA from the University of Maine.

Erin Devine - Business Development
Joining CBG Benefits in 2008, Erin focuses on her clients' business goals and develops customized long-term benefit strategies to control costs and maximize impact. Working with clients of all sizes across a variety of industries, she understands that every organization requires a unique solution and strives to find that solution year after year.
Erin began her insurance career as a sales representative with AIG. There she developed and sold customized insurance products working with clients including association groups, municipalities, higher education and large fortune 1000 companies. She received a BS in Business Administration from Saint Michael's College in VT. Originally from the South Shore, she resides in South Boston.

Ted Haughey - Senior Vice President
Ted has over 14 years of experience in the employee benefits field. Ted specializes in advising employers on group health, life and disability funding methods, plan design, cost containment, flexible benefits, retirement plans, and state and federal compliance issues. With a background of experience at both the carrier and advisor level, he has a strong knowledge of the total delivery system and the funding options available to provide clients the most cost effective solutions to their benefit needs.
Ted began his career as an Account Executive with New England Financial in Chicago, Illinois where he was recognized in 2000 as their top national salesperson for both health and retirement plans. Following NEF's merger with Great-West Healthcare in 2002, Ted returned to Boston, Massachusetts as a Senior Account Executive in the mid-market segment handling healthcare sales for groups of 100 to 3000 employee lives.
Ted is originally from Bridgewater, Massachusetts and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Notre Dame. Ted currently resides in South Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Kelly and their two children, Elle and Teddy.

Kathy McGinty - Manager, Client Services
Kathy is a dynamic professional with a diverse business background whose analytical, office management, customer service and sales skills keep CBG's brokers and customers satisfied. A Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Regis College and a multitude of post-graduate Business courses have added to her knowledge base and overall success. Kathy also holds Life and Health Licenses in Massachusetts.
Kathy is married with three sons and lives in Chelmsford, MA.

Janine McWilliams - Vice President, HR Consulting
Janine brings her experience as a Human Resource Director to CBG Benefits. Having knowledge and insight into client relationships as well as understanding the Health and Welfare marketplace enables Janine to provide a 360-degree approach to her clients.
Janine's consulting and organizational skills within the Health and Welfare arena traverses many disciplines including implementation and installation of large group health plans, funding methodology, employee communications strategy, focused wellness programming, enrollment consultation, medical trends, claims analysis and technology.
Janine holds Life, Accident and Health licenses in all New England States.
